User Guide: Rectangular and Folding Tables

Preparation

Nearly all Smart Spacer® branded products use acrylic panels (aka plexiglass). Industry standard is to ship acrylic panels with paper or plastic protecting each side. If you have just a few panels, you can simply peel off the paper/plastic. If you'd like tips on doing that more efficiently, see this video:

Rectangular and Folding Tables

For rectangular and/or folding tables that have a single Smart Spacer® rod assembly in the center, this video will show you the fastest ways to install the Smart Spacer®.

Tables that Fold in Half

If you are using a clampless version of Smart Spacers® on a table that folds in half (e.g., has a seam in the center of the table's surface), we suggest you initially install to one side or the other the seam, and then once assembled, move to the position you would like.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

There’s a difference between cleaning and disinfecting. For details, please see details on best practices on our cleaning page.
