PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) Funds Can Be Used for Smart Spacers®
The definition for proper use of funds, under PPP (Paycheck Protection Program), includes “Covered worker protection expenditure” which is an expenditure (operating or capital) to facilitate the adaptation of the business activities of an entity to comply with requirements established or guidance by the Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control, or the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or any equivalent requirements established or guidance issued by a State or local government.
Physical barriers — such as the Smart Spacer® — are long defined by the CDC and NIOSH as engineering controls used to provide protection against COVID-19 and Coronavirus.
